Central Oregonians love their furry friends. And no doubt, “man’s best friend” is a great companion. But if you have pets in your home, chances are, you have pet hair in your home too. That hair clings to clothes, household items and of course, Fido’s favorite blanket. When you launder those items, that pet hair typically doesn’t come out in the washing machine–it comes out in the dryer. Some works its way into the dryer’s lint trap, which is easy to get out. But some travels to the dryer exhaust system which, combined with lint and other debris, can clog that system. In homes with multiple pets, I often notice an abundance of pet hair in the debris I clean out of the vents. To keep your system running as efficiently as possible (not to mention reducing the likelihood of a dangerous fire), schedule a bust today. And worry about more important things, like taking your best friend out for an evening walk.
